Salary: £13,888 per annum (Actual gross salary)
Job Type: Part Time, Term time only (25 hours per week, Term Time – 38 weeks per year)
Working Hours: 12pm to 5pm

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Librarian to join our library team. The library is a vibrant hub within the school with an excellent stock. It is popular with students before and after school and at break and lunch times.
Your role would be to support the Library Manager in the provision of a high quality, library service that promotes a reading culture and independent learning across the school. This will involve the provision of advice and information and developing displays and community events. You will also be involved in developing sustainable learning resources and the use of new technologies. You will need to be able to manage students whilst in the library.
About you:
It is essential that you have good literacy and numeracy skills, good organizational and IT skills, and experience of working in a people facing environment, preferably in a school.
