Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager / Management Accountant

Location: London

Salary: £24,000 per annum (£40,000 FTE)

Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week), Permanent

Hours: 3 days per week. The role will be predominantly office based with some flexible working (1 day per week) after 3 months. Exact days and hours will be mutually agreed.

We are an ethical and fast-growing company and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Assistant Finance Manager to join our team of exceptional people.

The role is based at our Head Office in Borough, close to London Bridge.

About the role:

BPR Group is expanding and this exciting new role has been created to assist the Financial Controller with the day to day running of the finance function, along with some management reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts across 3 businesses.
  • Reporting on additional departmental P&L’s.
  • VAT Returns.
  • Process innovations and improvements where possible.
  • Provide cover for Purchase and Sales ledger if needed.
  • Internal queries.

About you:

As our Assistant Finance Manager, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a relevant role.
  • AAT fully qualified and/or ACCA part qualified.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel (knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint also required).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; confident when talking to people face to face.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to balance a busy workload and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive nature when it comes to problem solving.
