Job Title: Assistant Bid Manager
Location: Ridham, Sittingbourne, Kent
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum

About the role:
The Bid Team is responsible for managing the tender process for the Waste Group, within Heathcote Holdings, securing contracts in the public and private sectors. The Assistant Bid Manager will support the Bid Manager in all aspects of the bidding process. The team will be working on multiple bids as part of the Company’s expansion plans.
Note: in addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Bid Team mailbox and opportunity alerts
- Assist with, and lead, tender process
- Assist with and compile questionnaire responses
- Compose written question responses
- Support management and up keep of the tender information library
- Liaise with departments across the business to gain new and up to date information
- Create, develop and maintain boiler plate text
- Participate in project launches and handovers
- Review and analyse customer issued documents
- Keep internal tender and opportunity trackers up to date and manage external trackers
- Support and deliver miscellaneous tasks and projects
- Customer portal and project correspondence support and management
- Assist with the management of the internal tender tracker

Desirable Requirements:
- Bid Writing
Essential Experience:
- Experience of working in a similar role where data accuracy, working on projects and document writing has been demonstrated
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience of bidding or tender processes
- Experience of the waste and recycling industry would be advantageous but not essential
Qualifications:
GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths
