Job Title: Asset Surveyor (HHSRS)

Location: Leeds

Salary: £43,000 per annum (+ Essential Car User Allowance dependant on the emissions of vehicle)

Job Type: Full time, 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Asset Surveyor (HHSRS) to join our dynamic team. You’ll have extensive experience using Schedule of Rates (SOR) NAT FED rates and managing a demanding schedule of 8 appointments per day. You’ll also need to have good IT skills, as the role involves raising orders using a tablet to input into our in-house system when you’re out on site.

This role is essential in helping us comply with relevant housing standards and regulations while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

As part of the role, you’ll:

  • Conduct thorough surveys and post-inspections in compliance with HHSRS regulations and other relevant standards
  • Manage time and resources to maintain a consistent schedule of 8 appointments per day
  • Raise orders using our in-house system, arrange quotes, and maintain accurate records using SOR NAT FED rates
  • Have great communication with our customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity and satisfaction throughout the surveying process
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as planned maintenance and compliance, to ensure survey findings are dealt with promptly and accurately
  • Manage conflicting priorities and demands, completing tasks within the required timelines
  • Resolve challenging issues from surveys and inspections with professionalism and expertise

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience using Schedule of Rates (SOR) NAT FED rates
  • Proven ability to manage a demanding schedule of 8 appointments per day
  • In-depth knowledge of HHSRS regulations and standards
  • Strong IT skills, with experience using tablets to raise orders on in-house systems while on site
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in managing conflicting priorities and ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams within an organization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve challenging issues effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently
