Salary: £57,000 plus Essential Car User Allowance based on the emissions of vehicle

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Asset Manager – Operational Delivery to join our Assets Team, to be part of the delivery of a range of operational services.
The main purpose of this role is to:
- Ensure the provision of a customer oriented Responsive Repairs & Voids service which provides value for money and maintains the Association’s investment in its property portfolio. Having prime responsibility for managing the contractors employed on behalf of the organisation.
- Have a strategic overview of the in-house Community Spaces Team (Gardeners, Cleaners and Fire Testing) taking responsibility for the team ensuring a customer focused, value for money delivery service working to policies such as Health and Safety, Equality Diversity and Inclusion.
- Monitor and manage the performance of in-house teams and contractors, ensuring agreed standards, health and safety compliance and budgets are achieved.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing our Repairs & Voids delivery contracts.
- Leading and managing our Community Spaces Team (directly employed gardening and cleaning team).
- Ensure an effective customer journey for all repairs – from initial enquiry to successful completion.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be a strong communicator who is able to liaise effectively at all levels.
- Have experience of working in a Repairs and Maintenance Department including management of staff and contractors.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of reactive repairs including diagnosis.
- Have a flexible and innovative approach and be keen to generate and implement new ideas to improve services.
- Have a passion to strive to ensure services are delivered to excellent standards in line with current legislation.
