The Role
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced asset management or property management surveyor within our Asset Management Team. We are looking for a talented, self-motivated individual who has the relevant experience and skills to meet the challenges required for this post.
About you:
The successful candidate will support the Senior Asset Management officers and Team Leader in the management of the Council’s property portfolio including negotiating leases, rent reviews for land / premises, review of charging policies, collection of rents and debts, land disposals and acquisitions, whilst ensuring that the property portfolio is appropriate and suitable for the needs of service delivery across directorates in accordance with the Strategic Asset Plan.
You should have relevant experience of managing a property portfolio in relation to property management, disposal and acquisition. Valuation experience would be beneficial but is not essential. The ability to work well within a team environment as well as in isolation on certain projects is also required.
A Degree and Post Graduate Qualification in Property Management or equivalent would be beneficial but not essential in place of relevant, demonstrative experience.
