About The Role:
We are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives to work within our multi-skilled manufacturing teams on various components of wide range of ejection seats, ranging from the traditional tried and tested to our more innovative state-of-the-art designs.
Working within the Annex section within the manufacturing department you will perform a varied range of tasks, focused on the assembly and inspection of components and sub-assemblies in accordance with the quality standards and production schedule.
About You:
What We Would Like You To Bring To The Team:
- Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and their related components
- Ability to use technical specifications, defined working methods and drawings to build components and sub-assemblies
- employ appropriate techniques as specified on the job cards relevant to specific components such that work is undertaken according to requirements
- undertaking self-inspection (and where authorised apply an inspector’s stamp) and quality check of work undertaken in accordance with laid down quality standards and procedures
- handle materials, goods and components carefully and comply with safety regulations
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations
- Manufacturing/engineering working knowledge
