Position Summary:
As an Area Officer in Grounds Maintenance, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of projects across multiple sites. This is a varied and rewarding position, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Liaison: Communicating with clients to understand their needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Quoting & Planning Work: Preparing quotes, scheduling jobs, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Ordering Materials & Equipment: Managing the procurement of necessary materials, tools, and hire machinery.
- Accommodation & Logistics: Booking accommodation for teams when required.
- Compliance & Safety: Compiling Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe working practices.
- Admin & Reporting: Checking timesheets, vehicle and equipment inspections, and maintaining records.
- Use of IT Systems: Working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook to manage schedules, reports, and communication.
What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK driving license (Essential)
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook (or similar systems).
- Good communication skills and a friendly approach.
- Experience in grounds maintenance or a related field (preferred but not essential).
