Job Title: AAT Accountancy Apprenticeship Tutor
Location: Batley – travel in and around Yorkshire will be required with the opportunity to work remotely
Salary: £30,000+ depending on experience and qualifications

The company operates as a commercial and funded training provider in many industry sectors. Based in Batley they specialise in Apprenticeships, whilst offering a wide range of commercial training to individuals and companies.
Job Summary:
Be instrumental in the development of the next generation of business professionals as an AAT Accountancy Tutor.
Their target markets include the Human Resources, Management, Business and Administration, Health and Fitness, Accountancy, Early Years Education, Warehousing and Customer Service.
This is an exciting opportunity for an AAT Accountancy Tutor with previous experience of delivering AAT Accountancy qualifications at Levels 2 – 4 to join their team.
Currently the successful applicant would be expected to deliver Level 4 classroom provision each Wednesday at their head offices. They will also oversee / support classroom delivery and learner progression on Thursday’s and Friday’s ensuring learners are ready for End Point Assessment in a timely manner.
Mondays and Tuesdays will be available as administration days with the option to work from home however visit to employers to conduct reviews and observations will also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing of all AAT apprenticeship delivery (Level 2 – 4) as well as AAT commercial learners (Level 2 – 3)
- Ensuring progression of learners whilst on programme
- Ensuring readiness of apprentices for end point assessment and timely achievement of the apprenticeship standards
- Provide additional support in a classroom environment where needed
- Communicating with employers to conduct on programme reviews
Essential Qualifications:
- Grade A-C GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Level 3 AAT Accountancy Qualification / equivalent
Desirable Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in an industry related higher education program
- Level 4 AAT Accountancy Qualification / equivalent / greater
- Assessor Units (A1 or equivalent)
- PTLLS (or equivalent)
- Certificate of Education or PGCE
Desirable Employment History:
- Experience working as an AAT tutor and Apprenticeship Standards
- Experience of working in a managerial / supervisory role
- Experience working in relevant accountancy / technician role
