Job Title: Administration Assistant

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Salary: £21,000-£23,000 plus competitive benefits

Job type: Full Time (Monday to Friday)

King Lifting is a recognised provider of crane hire to the construction industry and plant, machinery movement solutions from depots across the UK. We are a family-owned business and proud of our name and success within our industry.

The role:

We are actively seeking a Hire Desk Assistant who can demonstrate a positive, “can-do” attitude and high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Managing the arrangement of resources required for each order
  • Using IT systems and administrative processes, including filing and processing documents Raising contracts, job sheets, operator tickets and inputting customer timesheets
  • Organising site visits
  • Dealing with daily sales calls to new and existing customers
  • Chasing debtors and overdue payments
  • Dealing with local authorities and traffic management companies managing road closures and permits
  • Promotion of Health & Safety culture: incident reporting, PPE requirements, etc.

Experience/skills required:

The ideal candidate will have excellent working experience of Microsoft Office, strong organisational skills are essential. We are seeking a confident and professional individual who thrives under pressure and has the capability of working effectively as part of a busy team based around different geographical locations. Previous experience with the crane industry or plant hire would be an advantage.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm. This is an office-based role so only applications will be considered from candidates who live within a commutable distance of Avonmouth.
