Job Title: Admin / Receptionist

Location: London, EC1(office-based)

Salary: £25,700 – £27,500 (depending on experience)

Job type: Permanent, Full time

An exciting new opportunity for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join a well-established and growing accountancy firm in London EC1.

The role

  • Meeting & greeting clients
  • Meeting rooms – Checking availability / Booking / ensuring the rooms and client areas are tidy and ready for the next meeting etc
  • Answering phone & dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Various company secretarial matters incl. company formation (Training provided)
  • Setting up new client files and helping with anti-money laundering compliance
  • Updating database
  • Registering clients for VAT, PAYE
  • Assisting with payroll using Sage 50 payroll. (Training provided)
  • Ad hoc duties

  • Professional friendly manner
  • Strong customer care skills
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude, with good initiative to support continuous improvement
  • Understanding of the value of the support given to team members working to chargeable time
  • Competent literacy & numeracy skills. Proficient with Office 365 and good typing skills
  • Quick to learn and implement new tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Capable of using own initiative to enable working with minimal supervision after initial training.
  • Ability to prioritise and work calmly under pressure to manage efficiently a busy workload
  • Multi-tasking essential
  • Self-motivated, reliable & good team player
  • Flexible to support the needs of the business
