King Lifting provide crane hire to the construction industry and plant, machinery movement solutions from depots across the UK. We are a family run business and proud of our name and achievements within the industry.
We are currently seeking an Accounts Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day smooth running of our small Accounts Department.
The role:
This is a very busy role so we are looking for a confident individual who can work quickly and accurately. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure with high attention to detail, excellent organisation and inter-personal skills coupled with a positive, professional and ‘can do’ approach at all times. Working experience of Microsoft Office and excellent Excel skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will have previous working experience as an Accounts Supervisor or similar role with good knowledge and working experience of bookkeeping. AAT qualified or equivalent is preferred, however, qualified by working experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manage a small team to ensure that accounting deadlines are consistently achieved
- Control of cashbook including direct debits, standing orders and credit card administration
- Prepare weekly and monthly supplier payment runs and payments for sub-contractors
- Assist sales ledger team
