If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you. Working in a superb environment, we are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join the Finance Service in Corporate Affairs.
You will join the Service Finance Team, providing professional financial support and advice to services, senior officers and elected Members. Your responsibilities will include preparing budgets, closedown of accounts, budget monitoring and producing reconciliations and ad hoc financial information.
About you:
Ideally being Association of Accounting Technicians qualified, having passed at least one stage of a CCAB qualification or with a relevant degree and with practical knowledge of financial work, you will be highly numerate with good analytical and communication skills. You must be able to produce accurate work, have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, work well as part of a team and demonstrate an interest in public sector finance.
