Job Title: Field Sales Engineer
Location: Swindon
Salary: £35,000 depending on experience plus bonus (uncapped OTE)
The Company is a leading UK distributor of automation, machinery safety and industrial control products for the manufacturing industry. They are now looking for a Field Sales Engineer to join their team. If you are an experienced sales professional, or someone from an engineering background who is now looking for a technical sales career (don’t worry, they give you all the support and training you need), this is a great opportunity for you.
Main Responsibilities:
- Targeting an established customer base of system integrators, OEMs, panel builders and end-users
- Developing new and existing accounts across South England
- Selling a wide range of industrial control and machinery safety products from manufacturers including Mitsubishi, Sick, Rittal, Siemens, Weidmuller and Pilz
The Candidate:
- An electrical or mechanical engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, BTEC, degree or equivalent.
- A full driving licence
- Experience of selling industrial control and/or machinery safety products would also be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Well organised, self-motivated, tenacious and able to thrive in a competitive sales environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to forge and maintain strong working relationships
