Role Overview:
They’re passionate about protecting people, property, electrical equipment and systems, from the damaging effects of lightning strikes, electrical faults and surges whilst providing height safety solutions to prevent falls from height. Joining the team as a New Business Account Manager you will ambitiously drive orders in, selling the service offerings of testing, inspecting and repairing clients lightning protection, and height safety systems help clients to ensure their compliance
Responsible for winning new business there is a commitment to delivering sales growth by implementing a strong regional sales plan to leverage business opportunities, growing new sales into existing clients or developing strategic relationships into large portfolio, multi sited locations with a sales revenue and margin target to be met.
The company specialises in delivering solutions to the market’s most complex, pressing and urgent challenges focussed on Lightning and Fall Protection systems. This, therefore, requires a professional sales person to co-ordinate their own sales activity focused on selecting customers who value quality and expertise. Dealing with client queries and enquiries, you will visit and present the service offering to clients, produce compelling tender proposals and creative sales presentations that deliver the benefits of the company’s customer value proposition.
The Candidate:
To be successful you will possess an extensive sales background within the compliance services industry with proficiency in selling to FM companies, public authorities and FTSE 100 companies. Customer orientated whilst demonstrating effective commercial judgement, you will be able to show strong business development/sales skills together with a sound knowledge of pricing mechanisms and bid management expertise.
To succeed, you will have natural gravitas with an ability to persuade and influence at all levels. You will enjoy working autonomously and it’s essential that you possess the prioritisation and organisational skills to manage your own workload.
Knowledge of lightning protection or height safety would be a distinct advantage, however full training will be given to the successful applicant. Frequent travel is required in order to fulfil the role.
