Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum

About the role:

We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to join our well-established Sales Team, working from our Newbury office. We offer some flexibility to work from home.

The ideal candidate will build relationships easily, confidently interacting with internal stakeholders (Implementation Engineers, Project Managers) as well as External stakeholders (clients, 3rd party vendors). Strategically engaging with more senior stakeholders. You will be skilled in building a picture of client needs and be passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer service all the time. This role will require face-to-face meetings with clients on the client site.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone currently working as an Account Manager or someone looking to progress into a dedicated role at this level, in a supportive and friendly team environment. Experience of MSP and or IT sales is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing existing relationships as well as new business.
  • Show casing new technologies/products/brands to new clients.
  • Promoting sales offers and deals.
  • Ensure competitive pricing and prepare compelling quotes and proposals.
  • Maintain regular pipeline forecasts for clients and team.
  • Establish client budget, elevate and develop their requirements.
  • Using a CRM system track all contract and sales activity.
  • Work alongside the Projects Team to ensure solution sales are correctly delivered.
  • Maintaining an up to date understanding of market trends, competitor activities and potential new revenue streams.
  • Degree or equivalent is highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Experience of MSP and or IT sales is essential.
  • Key Account/Account Management experience.
  • Experience of delivering the highest levels of customer service.
  • Takes enjoyment from working as a core member of the sales team.
  • Familiar with CRM systems and recoginises the importance of data.
