Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Recorra are an ethical, fast-growing recycling and resource management company, with a team of exceptional people. We are looking for someone to join our award-winning account management team.
We believe that commercial success depends on building strong relationships. We are looking for a customer focused account manager to oversee and develop a portfolio of accounts. You will maintain a detailed understanding of the operational and commercial aspects of these accounts and focus on the client’s environmental goals. Recycling rates will be your focus where you will use a host of sustainability initiatives, implementing additional streams and services to help increase these.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and develop relationships with Recorra’s client base.
- Attend monthly and quarterly review meetings with your accounts to review operational services, environmental targets, and commercials.
- Work alongside our sustainability team to assist clients achieve their environmental goals.
- Increase revenue by identifying new service opportunities (new services, new sites, cross-selling) and bring them to fruition.
- Collaborate with Recorra’s Sustainability Team to deliver sustainability initiatives to your clients such as workshops, infrastructure analysis and engagement events.
- Working with the Finance department to resolve invoice queries.
- Ensure the client receives and understands their recycling reports.
- Undertake operational reviews of accounts with a view to providing efficiencies.
- Be a point of escalation for service issues.
The Candidate:
As an Account Manager you will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience working as an account manager.
- A personal interest in the environment.
- The ability to develop and nurture strong relationships with decision makers or influencers.
- Ability to efficiently deal with difficult commercial situations.
- A strong customer focus, with good listening and questioning skills.
- Excellent verbal communications skills and be confident presenting.
- Excellent organisation skills and you will be able to manage your time to ensure work is completed on time.
