The Company is a global consortium with over 700 Member organisations that works with customers, suppliers, consortia, and other standards bodies to enable the achievement of business objectives through technology standards.
Recognizing the continuing growth in Membership, and the interest in new Membership, the company is looking to appoint an Account Manager who will also be responsible for helping drive events attendance.
Job Role:
The first area of responsibility is management of existing Membership accounts, primarily focused on higher level Memberships. You will be expected to be in regular communication with these accounts, and to try and drive deeper engagement with the company activities. You will be involved in managing approximately 100-200 accounts.
The second is lead development. This includes creating automated follow-up programs for conference leads, web form leads, and webcast attendee leads.
You will also help identify individuals in target geographies where they have upcoming events, and connect with them via LinkedIn and/or email to drive interest in conference attendance.
The Candidate:
Education
- Marketing/Business degree
- Very good command of English, and the ability to write emails and reports.
Experience
- 1-3 years of Business Development experience
- Corporate experience within an IT function
- Customer relationship experience (account management or sales development)
- Experience contributing to proposals and/or customer presentations
- Experience within an industry consortium or trade association
- International exposure
- Experience in using Salesforce, as well as Pardot (or similar)

- Ability to work independently based upon guidance provided; be an integral part of the Business Development team
