Location: Solihull

Salary: £40k-£50k PLUS Commission OTE

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

This is not a remote role, must be able to commute to Solihull weekly.

The Role:

We’re expanding our talented sales team with the recruitment of a dedicated and experienced Account Executive based in our modern Solihull Town Centre offices, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join our journey of innovation and growth.

You’ll help our customers and prospects realise the power of our sales analytics software to drive business-critical decision making.

Although you’ll already be a seasoned software sales expert, we’ll still set you on the road for success by providing the mentoring and training needed to build up your capabilities.

You’ll also have access to personal growth roadmaps; a stream of professional development and learning opportunities; a dedicated SDR to help you generate leads; ongoing sales performance mentorship; a ton of technology to help you do your job; and lots of other incentives to keep you motivated.

And you’ll be compensated via an uncapped commission structure!

You’ll be responsible for new business, selling software-based solutions (predominately on the phone and via webinars). We are looking for an experienced sales professional, who is interested in furthering their career in technology sales.

The Account Executive will be supported by an internal SDR; however, you will also generate your own leads by networking, cold calling and working with our marketing team.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Solution selling to multiple stakeholders
  • Pipeline management and progression supported by close plans
  • Work with marketing to understand size of opportunity and produce campaigns
  • Proactive contribution to driving improvement in sales approach
  • Become an expert within the sector you are focused on through networking and reading
  • Assist in the continued development of the sales-i Channel Partner Network
  • Represent sales-i at industry summits and conferences

The Candidate:

  • 3 years solution selling experience in technology, software or technical services led environment
  • Experience of selling a SaaS product is highly desirable
  • Experience selling over the phone with online tools
  • Strong prospecting experience involving a high volume of cold phone and email outreach
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding new business targets
  • Ideally with experience in CRM/BI
  • Positive outlook, goal driven and entrepreneurial
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
