Job Title: Academic Development Tutor
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £25,300 – £28,345 pro rata of £28,929 – £32,411 – SS4.
Job type: Permanent, Full Time. Permanent, 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (0.77 FTE).

The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join University College Birmingham’s CASE (Centre for Academic Skills and English) team, who play a crucial role in the development of students’ academic skills. You’ll be working to support our diverse students to succeed academically by developing their academic English, and related skills.
You will provide 1:1 academic support for HE students, in addition to delivering bespoke academic skills support for groups/ in workshops. You will also contribute to the development of our high-quality online support packages.
You will have experience of supporting students with their academic skills in an HE educational setting and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
