Job Title: 3.5T Van Driver
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £10 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (6:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday, some flexibility required)
The Company are a specialist in natural and smoke ventilation systems and have been manufacturing, supplying, installing and commissioning ventilation systems for over 30 years for a variety of projects of all shapes and sizes.
About the role:
We are looking to recruit a driver with a “can do” attitude to deliver goods within one day round trips traveling to London and Birmingham as our main area of business.
The hours of work are 6am to 3pm however due to nature of the business, we may need you to be flexible to work outside the core hours. It’s very rare that you would have a trip which would be longer than one day however, in this instance hotel accommodation will be covered.
About you:
- You will be driving a flatbed van so you will need up to 3.5t, cat. B driving license which you must have held for a minimum of 2 years.
- You will also have responsibility for the van, ensuring it is well looked after and to report any problems promptly.
- You will need to have a good level of fitness to be able to help with unloading and loading deliveries on occasions
