Job Title: Sales Manager
Salary: Dependant on experience with OTE’s and performance bonuses available
Location: Aldridge – full time office-based position
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Due to company expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager to head up our team and contribute in generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for managing our team of sales executives, as well as overseeing customer accounts to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations.
The Sales Manager role is both a sales and account management role so you must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. You will need to be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as in person.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and revenue goals
- Monitor and report on sales performance, including market trends
- Manage the sales pipeline and lead generation
- Maintain existing accounts and develop strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Liaising with customers to:
- answer questions about the company or products
- understand their requirements
- sell and ‘up-sell’ our products
- Handle grievances that have been escalated from the sales team
- Contact warm leads to enquire about potential orders and maintain relationship, there will be no cold calling within this position
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Sales and Sales management within this sector (essential)
- Experience in Sage software (Sage 200 preferred)
- Computer literate and able to learn/work with relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software and telephone systems)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Self-motivated and target driven
- Full UK driving license
