Job Title: Sales / Account Executive

Salary: £30,000 per year + commission
Job type: Permanent, Full Time. Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Requirements: Must have permanent access to a car as the location is not accessible by public transport.
The Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales & Account Executive to join our team and work closely with the Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new sales through various techniques, nurturing client relationships, and identifying upsell opportunities. This role involves predominantly outbound calls, with an expectation to manage incoming sales inquiries as well. PDC has ambitious growth plans and offers a commission structure for this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively contact prospective clients to introduce PDC and promote our products confidently and accurately.
- Represent the company professionally, engaging with customers via telephone with confidence.
- Expand the existing client base by researching and creating prospect lists, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for effective sales conversion.
- Support the Sales Manager in onboarding new customers and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Contribute to marketing and social media campaigns to promote PDC.
- Develop and execute regular communication strategies to keep clients informed about PDC’s products and services.
- Understand each client’s needs to identify and highlight relevant opportunities for our services.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients. Utilize persuasive negotiation skills to challenge customer pricing and cross-reference historical prices.
- Address client queries or concerns regarding open sales orders.
- Regularly contact over 300 companies to assist with their stock needs and gather client requirements as part of a team goal.
Requirements:
- GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively. Experience with CRM systems.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn and related sales tools.
Desirable Skills:
- Creative and persuasive problem-solving skills.
- Multi-lingual abilities (an advantage).
- Strong negotiation skills.
