Job Title: Trainee Dental Assistant
Location: Bridge Street, Canterbury, CT1 2NA
Salary: £13.50 per hour (full training provided)
Job Type: We have 2 positions available – one full-time and one part-time
Working Hours:
- Full-time: 08:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday, every other Saturday
- Part-time: 09:30am – 1:30pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Opening Times:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00am – 2:00pm (by appointment only)
- Sunday: Closed

Located in the city centre of Canterbury, our dental practice has been providing care to the local community for over 20 years. We are a modern, fully private practice offering a wide range of dental treatments, including orthodontics, endodontics and dental implants.
Duties:
As a Trainee Dental Assistant, you will support the dental team and ensure the smooth operation of our practice. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing fillings and other materials
- Providing support and reassurance to patients
- Sterilising instruments
- Processing dental x-rays
- Tidying and cleaning the dental surgery
- Recording information about patients
- Advising patients on oral hygiene
- Carrying out stock control
