Job Title: Part-time Trainee Dental Nurse
Location: Oakleigh Road North, London, N20 9HE
Salary: £11.50 – £12.00 per hour
Job Type: Part time, Permanent
Operating Hours of Practice: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Schedule: Part-time, Wed/Thurs/Fri (May initially start on Thurs/Fri, transitioning to Wed/Thurs/Fri from July/August)
(8 hours/day, 8:45am start – 5:45pm finish, 1-hour lunch break)
Salary Breakdown:
- Trainee: £11.50-£12.00/hour
- Qualified: starting at £14.00/hour based on experience and skill set
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Dental Nurse – all roles involved.
- Assist dentists during procedures
- Prepare instruments
- Provide chairside support
- Maintain patient records
- Ensure cleanliness
- Assist with reception tasks
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations

Skills or Requirements:
- Team player
- Sometimes flexible on timing if cover needed
- Ideally locally based
- Potential to cover reception desk in rare cases if needed
- Prior experience in a dental setting preferred but not essential; accepting newly enrolled trainee dental nurses (letter of enrolment required)
- Right to work in the UK
- First dose of Hepatitis B vaccination
- Good computer skills
