Job Title: Junior Sales Designer
Location: Harpenden
Salary: £21,000 OTE up to £30,000
Job type: Full Time/permanent (to include Saturday, one day off in the week)

About the role:
Our Design & Sales Consultants create bathrooms that exceed our client’s every expectation. From understanding the client to understanding the huge range of products and technical skill involved in bathroom design, our Design & Sales Consultants must be creative, personable and proactive problem-solvers. Key responsibilities:
- Develop and build sales, taking advantage of all Sales opportunities in the showroom or other direct enquiries
- Promote and provide the Ripples design service by following the Ripples sales procedure including arranging home visits, preparing designs, preparing quotations, presenting those designs and closing sales in a timely manner
- Be part of the team and work with the Senior Design Sales in order to develop and refine your skills
- Ensure a high-standard showroom experience, from meeting and greeting potential clients to helping to design new showroom displays
About you:
Experience in retail sales or design would be beneficial, but if you’re just starting out on your career or new to our industry we can teach you about bathroom design and sales; although you must have some essential skills to thrive:
You are a self-motivated individual who is a good communicator. You’re ambitious to learn, grow, and excel and like working with people. You’re professional, organised and reliable, with an eye for detail which will help you to find solutions to help projects succeed.

A typical day:
- Discussing customers’ requirements and vision
- Creating designs using CAD software
- Delivering project presentations
- Taking measurements at customers’ homes
- Guiding customers to the right products
- Putting together project quotations
- Processing sales documents
- Liaising with (client or our preferred) installers and/or project team to ensure a smooth install process.
- Conducting approval inspections after installation
- Supporting the Senior Sales Designer as required
