Job Title: Office Administrator
Location: Swanley
Salary: £24,000 – £25,000 per year
Job type: Full Time, Hours of work – 8am-4pm Monday to Friday
Next Doors Ltd manufacture, supply and install all types of doors and windows across the UK specialising in Automatic Doors and Drive Thru windows. We are a small family run business based in Swanley.
The Role:
We are looking for an Office Administrator to join us to support our growing team mainly focused on order management and fulfilment, order support and customer service-related tasks. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of relevant office-based experience in a similar role. Must be excellent at data entry and liaising with customers, being both accurate and efficient. Hold high standards of organisational skills and good communication skills.
Requirements & skills:
- Must have a driving license and own transport due to location of the office
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of data recording
- Recent office-based experience of at least 1 year in a similar role preferable
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook or other email software)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Organisation
- Being professional and courteous
- Being thorough and analytical
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Being proactive and assist with resolving issues quickly
- Interest in learning new technologies
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Incoming customer service calls
- Dealing with customer requests via phone and email, including new orders and follow-up enquiries
- Inputting data into our CRM
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records, for example, staff and customer electronic files
- Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
- Processing invoices and inputting expenses into accounts software
- Responsible for sourcing materials and parts/ product research
- Booking couriers and organising dispatch of goods
This list is not exhaustive, and you may be asked to carry out additional duties being open to offer ad hoc support as challenges and opportunities arise.
