Job Title: Bookings Administrator

Working Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm
Holidays: 33 days including bank holidays
Collingwood are an innovative education organisation based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. We design and deliver education and training programmes across the UK and also manage international programmes around the world. We are looking to expand our bookings administration team, who manage the recruitment of schools to our free UK projects. The role involves co-ordinating email, phone, and bookings campaigns to schools in targeted areas and managing the project visits to schools.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and over the phone), strong organisational ability and essential IT experience (email, excel, Microsoft Teams). Most importantly, a commitment to making a difference to young people’s lives. The role is office based, from our headquarters in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Telephone campaigns including cleansing school contact details and making outgoing calls to schools to offer our free programmes
- Conducting email campaigns to schools and converting responses into bookings
- Administrating the end to end booking process; taking bookings, liaising with schools, confirmations, sending information and resources, logistics, and follow up
- Managing and updating databases and tour schedules
- Taking responsibility for school visit areas, making sure each programme is fully booked
- Booking team accommodation
- Liaising with our teams while they are touring schools
- Organising PR opportunities
- Occasional project visits in schools
Requirements and skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills – over the phone, via email and Teams
- Experience of working with Excel, Email, and Microsoft Teams is ideal
- Goal orientated – achieving minimum bookings requirement for all projects
- Strong time management including balancing outgoing campaigns with ongoing administrative tasks
- Ability and confidence to make consistent outgoing calls (this is not a telesales role as our offers are free however a minimum number of calls are expected per day)
- Strong team ethic and the ability to work closely with other members of the team on projects
- Flexibility to take on other related administrative tasks as required
- Belief in the importance of education and helping young people achieve their potential
