About The Role:
- Your new role will support the development of strategic HR initiatives whilst shaping, implementing, and maintaining HR policies at Walsall Council
- You will support the pay and rewards strategy, including maintenance of the pay structure using the NJC job evaluation scheme
- You will influence stakeholders across the council and enable informed decision making by contributing to the provision of HR management information
You will need:
- We are looking for you to be CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers
- Detailed knowledge of employment law, along with experience of developing HR policies and / or experience of job evaluation are key
- Good Microsoft Office skills are essential as you will be frequently using the full range of applications
