Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £45,000pa + Uncapped Commission
Job type: Permanent, Full Time. Office based Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and you must be a Driver with permanent access to a car as we are not accessible in any way via public transport!
The Role:
To build and maintain working relationships with the existing Sales team, develop prospective client lists, and deliver targeted campaigns to achieve new business.
Within this role, they will also be expected to service the current customer base and nurture/upsell to our existing clients. PDC has ambitious plans for growth over the next 3 years with plans for national expansion and, if the right candidate matches their ambition and energy, there are excellent career progression opportunities.
Position will include but are not limited to:
Duties;
- Responsibility for recruitment, training, objective setting, coaching and motivation of Sales team.
- Build and lead a Sales team to drive revenue, motivate the existing team to generate leads and build client relationships.
- Achieve Company objectives by planning, setting Sales goals, analysing performance data and forecasting.
- Motivate Team and delegate tasks.
- Researching new customers to increase existing client base by creating prospect lists through client research, to encourage lead generation.
- Develop new and existing marketing and social media campaigns.
- Supporting with new and existing marketing and social media campaigns for PDC.
- Develop regular communication strategy to clients to ensure that they are well informed of PDC’s products and services.
- Support team to gain an understanding for each client and be able to highlight a good opportunity for our services to help and support their business.
- Oversee onboarding new clients and maintaining good business relationships.
- Challenge customer pricing with convincing negotiation skills and cross-referencing previous prices attained from customers.
- Be on hand to deal with queries or concerns in absence of Senior Sales Executive.
- Hold and record regular team meetings to set objectives, review and monitor progress.
- Promote enthusiastic work ethic and liaise with other Managers.
Required:
- Previous expansion experience of growing a team to national coverage.
- A professional and strong leader to continuously develop sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
- Ability to create and execute a strategic Sales Plan to expand customer base and extend Company’s national reach.
- Five years’ experience in a managerial sales role in a corporate environment.
- Proven record of success in Sales from planning to closing.
- Superb leadership ability GSCE C or above English and Maths.
- Exceptional communication skills, confident and able to influence.
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage time effectively.
- High calibre experience of CRM systems and building teams.
- Understanding LinkedIn and relating sales tools.
Desired:
- Multi-lingual would be considered an advantage.
- GCSE Maths and English.
