Job Title: Internal Quality Assurance Co-ordinator
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £20k – £30k per annum DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Outline & Purpose:
- To internally quality assure portfolios
- To deliver effective training and feedback to staff in order to raise achievement
- To work with the Curriculum Manager to ensure learning programmes meet awarding bodies criteria
- To safeguard the welfare of all students, preventing radicalisation and promoting British Values
Internal Quality Assurance:
- Verification of portfolios and assessments
- Co-ordinate and & chair standardisation meetings with assessors
- Contributing to the Company’s self-assessment and development process
- To work effectively with the assessors and performance managers to raise portfolio standards
- To ensure effective implementation of new assessment procedures
- To keep up to date with changes to assessment/quality assurance practice and implement changes effectively
Staff Training:
- Ensure that all assessors receive effective induction training
- Ensure that assessors are trained in appropriate qualification assessments
- Ensure that assessors evidence competency
- Provide constructive, effective feedback to assessors in an appropriate manner to support improvement
- Provide on-going training and relevant CPD activities to assessors to support quality improvement
Qualification:
- GCSE A-C Maths & English
Abilities:
- Knowledge in teaching and training
- Knowledge of Functional Skills standards/practice
- Experience of working in education or training
- Good IT skills
- Excellent communicator
- To work well under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Good quality assurance/moderation skills
- To remain positive, with a bubbly, engaging personality
- Excellent organisation skills
