Job Title: Digital Content Creator

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum

The Role:
As the digital content creator for HQW Aerospace, you will work all departments across the business to create training, news, social media, and other digital content for consumption both internally and externally. This content will be used to drive the business forwards in terms of communicating with its employees, customers and potential new candidates creating a differentiating factor between Barden and other manufacturing businesses.
As your work will be representing the brand you must be professional, ethical and an excellent communicator with the ability to tailor the communication method and style to the appropriate target demographic
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high quality images and video content and convert them to the appropriate output including videos
- Edit digital content on request to support other areas
- Create interactive training solutions using the digital content you have captured
- Work with the business to ensure all employees are aware of priorities and important messaging using digital solutions
- Drive change throughout the business through innovation and creativity within your area of expertise
- Own the creation of the social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Guide the business on the most effective methods of communication and track results
- Stay ahead of the curve, researching industry-related topics and applying them within the business
- Align with and support the marketing department to ensure the messaging stays on brand
- Conducting research and interviews to learn more about the current trends, developments, company priorities and perceptions about the subject matter and then contextualising your findings
- Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach customers
- Using social media to engage customers and new candidates, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives
Key Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a digital content creator, copywriter, or similar role
- Portfolio of example work you have completed
- Excelling writing and editing skills in English
- Degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, Digital Media, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent research, organisational and time management skills
- Strong listening and communication skills
- The capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
