We are looking for a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team here at MotorServ UK– An multi award winning, modern, large-scale, well-equipped vehicle service and sales centre based in Solihull, Birmingham.
You will enjoy overtime opportunities, free parking and much more! Training can be provided for enhancement of skills.
Located in a large business park close to Junction 4 of the M42, the company is strategically situated close to main dealers, and large populated areas of Solihull.
The company has won multiple national and regional awards. A family-owned concern, it is a medium sized – main dealer like, business environment with big ambition and an alternative approach, which is really bearing fruit!
The Role:
As the Mechanic / Vehicle Technician you will be responsible for:
- Performing MOTs on vehicles using top of the range facilities
- Servicing, repairing and maintenance on customer’s cars.
- Part of a tech team of 15, you will get a good job rotation and learn new skills. (3 full time MOT Testers on site – dedicated twin lane and office).

Hours of work are Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:30, Saturday: 08:30 – 13:00. (On rota, subject to variation dependent on business demand).
In return, the MOT Tester/Technician will receive a starting salary of between £22,000 – £32,000 per annum depending on experience plus 21 days + bank holidays, and opt-in pension. All technicians on site are also eligible for the monthly bonus scheme.
