The Role:
The UCB sport team are looking to recruit a highly inspiring Lecturer in Sport to teach on a range of Further Education (FE) programmes across the school, including L3 Sports Coaching, L3 Sport and Exercise Science and L2 Sport.
You will join an excellent team working to deliver a high-quality educational experience in the Department of Sport and Nutrition. Based at our Summer Row Campus, which houses a range of facilities including a commercial clinic, you will be able to further develop our external links to maximise the vocational experiences of our students alongside your excellent teaching. Practical spaces include a full sports hall with teaching space and both grass and 4G pitches at Avery fields.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching Sports in FE as well as relevant industry experience You will have suitable experience to deliver specialist modules that translate theory into practice in this field and be able to make a significant impact on the career aspirations of our students.
Furthermore, you will have the ability to lead or support delivery across a range of modules which are underpinned by sport and exercise therapy e.g., sports coaching, nutrition, anatomy & sports psychology. You will join an excellent team working to deliver a high-quality educational experience in the Department of Sport and Nutrition.
The successful applicant will also have up-to-date industry knowledge which will be utilised to deliver interactive, innovative, engaging and motivational lessons to our students.
