As we continue to expand and excel in our field, we are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Learning & Development Business Partner to join our team and lead the establishment of an innovative Skills Academy.
Role Purpose:
As the Learning & Development Partner (LDP) at HQW Aerospace, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team to offer effective solutions. which define the future of our organisation across highly technical subject matters that are not available as ‘off the shelf training packages This is not an administrative role but is to provide creative solutions focusing on our core competence that sets us apart in the marketplace. This is a unique role offering you the opportunity to define processes, establish best practices, and create bespoke training packages to support all disciplines and levels within our business.
Your mission will be to develop role-specific training solutions to empower our colleagues as they advance in their careers, change departments, or join our team. Collaborating closely with our production and engineering teams, you will contribute expert problem-solving capability and establish a market leading skills academy.
Required Skills:
- Effective communication skills that are engaging and confident.

- Agile thinking to develop effective bespoke learning and development solutions.
- Self-driven with a “can-do” attitude.
- Knowledge and experience of various training methods/solutions.
- Familiarity with learning management systems.
- Strong ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external.
- Evidence of excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and multitask effectively.
- Proven experience with manufacturing, or similar industry. Qualifications/Experience:
- Batchelors Degree in Learning and Development, or higher-level people centric qualification
- Minimum of 2 years in a strategic L&D role.
