The Role:
Lancaster University is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to join the Network Systems team.
You will deliver reliable network services to staff, students & visitors to the university as well as partner organisations, drawing on their:
- Experience with Linux systems administration, including cluster & configuration management
- Knowledge of IP network design and the services that deliver a functional network at scale
- Strong diagnostic & effective communication skills
- Interest in software development, database design & experiences with open source software support
