Job Title: Trainee Sales Engineer
Location: Whiteparish, near Salisbury
Salary: Up to £28,000 depending on skills and experience
Job type: Permanent, Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm

We are a fast-growing international electronics business, with offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong, specialising in the design and manufacture of data loggers, smart graphic displays and custom electronic products.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual who is keen to carve out a career in our sales team.
You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, demonstrating the features and benefits of our products and helping to close sales.
Key tasks include:
- Identifying and generating new business leads through various channels through targeted research, initiating initial contact and organising meetings with new customers;
- Operating an active LinkedIn and social media profile to attract new customers;
- Demonstrating the features and benefits of the products to potential customers through online demos and in-person presentations;
- Attending sales visits to prospective clients and supporting the Sales team.
Key Requirements:
- You must have excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task in a changing and fast paced environment
- You will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a strong desire to learn and grow
- The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to pursue a career in sales with an interest in technology and electronics
- Extensive training will be provided to the successful individual

Benefits:
- Salary: up to £28,000 depending on skills and experience
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm
- Holidays: starting entitlement of 22 days plus Bank Holidays increasing each year to a maximum of 28 days plus Bank Holidays
- Sabbatical: one month paid sabbatical after 6 years
