The Role:
We are currently looking for a Modern Slavery Victim Care Quality Officer to join our committed and compassionate Quality team, on a fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail with the ability to proactively ensure that business needs are met. They will have a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.
The scope of this role is to work as part of the Migrant Help Quality Team to ensure compliance to contractual and regulatory requirements for the Modern Slavery Victim Care teams. This includes carrying out regular quality assurance checks to verify procedures are effective and are adhered to at all times. The postholder will be expected to work closely with operational and support services teams to ensure the quality of service provided to our clients, as well as conformance to contract key performance indicators.

As the MSVC Quality Officer your duties would include:
- Carry out regular quality checks and case assessments as required
- Ensuring the continuous effectiveness of the operational Quality Frameworks and procedures
- Create thorough reports on any findings, including good practice and any shortcomings
- Keep track of the Key Performance Indicators and other contractual requirements
- Identify root causes of any non-conformances and create improvement plans to ensure non-conformances are addressed and rectified
- Work within the organisation’s ISO frameworks to ensure adherence to ISO standards
- Lead the Client Feedback Process, including gathering, logging and analysing client feedback across the teams
- Assessing the effectiveness of our safeguarding procedures, in line with CQC requirements
- Work collaboratively with other teams to support continuous improvement
- Raise concerns or issues as appropriate and work with the relevant teams to resolve these
- Give feedback based on audit and assessment outcomes
- Provide support to other colleagues as and when required
- Participate in regular team briefings / meetings
- Keep up to date with legislation, regulations, contract requirements and any changes in provision of service advice for modern slavery and safehouses and the impact it may have on service users, or current ways of working.
The experience and skills you need:
- A good understanding of the current Modern Slavery environment in the UK
- Experience of quality assurance checks or assessments
- Experience of creating and understanding reports and spreadsheets, as well as the ability to present findings and trends
- Proven ability to prioritise and work on your own initiative whilst respecting boundaries
- Ability to deal with deadlines and conflicting priories
What else to expect:
- The Quality team operates Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. There may be occasions where flexibility to work outside of the hours is necessary
- The role is homebased; however, they may be occasions where you will be required to travel depending on business needs
