Job Title: Production Engineer
Location: Salisbury
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per year
Job type: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week.

Must hold sole British citizenship and you must have continually resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Deliver all elements required for successful New Product introduction and method changes, ensuring safe working procedures.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Ensure that products meet the requirements of customers, quality standards and external stakeholders.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and working practices and take responsibility for implementing improvement actions.
- Identify and document process instructions.
- Implement and carry out initial running of new processes.
- Deliver rapid problem solving to minimise the impact of product non-conformance.
- Take the lead in Process Management of Change (MoC) board as necessary, to enable amendment to tooling, equipment and work instructions accordingly.
- Support in the training of production personnel in the use of equipment, tooling and processes.
- Project manage new and improved processes.
Person Specification
- Right to live and work in the UK, with ability to obtain SC level clearance (5 years British residency necessary)
- Level 4 NVQ in engineering discipline or technical area
- Knowledge of Production Engineering either from Defence or Aerospace (preferred), high tech manufacturing or precision engineering
- Demonstrate working knowledge of new product introduction
- Ability to compile risk assessments and report writing
- Experience of working on Hazops, desirable
- Proficient in MS Office
