Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer (EICR)

We are a successful electrical testing and calibration company (21 years) working for a broad range of commercial and industrial clients and we are looking to recruit another Electrical Engineer into our team. Key Responsibilities:
The role will involve driving to sites and offices around the country diligently carrying out EICR testing and maintaining a high standard of customer service. This may also include assisting electrical and fire alarm engineers as and when required.
- Operate Installation Test equipment and test installations to assess the safety of the system
- Test electrical systems and appliances to ensure they meet safety standards.
- Meter testing.
- Testing of electrical equipment.
- Follow detailed written procedures when testing instllations.
- Respond appropriately to customer concerns when they arise.
The position entails a minimum of 2 nights per week pre-booked and paid overnight stays by us, prior to your arrival. A meal allowance is also included for your nights out. An ‘Anti-social’ payment is made for any additional over night stays per week.
Required Qualifications:
- C&G 2391 (or equivalent C&G Level 3 test & inspect).
- Full driving licence (clean)
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PDFs)
- Salary is negotiable but competitive
- Any other electrical knowledge or experience would be an advantageous.
