Job Title: e-Learning Developer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £26,444 – £28,759 per annum – SS3.

Job type: Full-time, Fixed-Term (up to 12 months)

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and talented individual to join our growing e-learning team (DICE) at University College Birmingham.

As an e-Learning Developer, you will share our passion for digital learning. You will use your expertise to proactively collaborate with academic subject specialists to design and develop highly engaging
e-learning content (via Articulate RISE, Storyline or similar), enhancing the learning experience of students across the university.

You will take an active role in the creation of resources for distribution via our virtual learning environment (Canvas), making effective use of its associated integrations (such as PebblePad for online portfolios and Panopto for the creation of video content).

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A passion for technology-enhanced learning.
  • Working knowledge and experience of e-Learning software.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • An organised approach to managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of
    a team.

Whilst this role is based mainly on site, there will be opportunities for flexible hybrid working.
