Salary: £40,000 (FTE) per annum (depending on experience)

About SW9 Community Housing

SW9 Community Housing is a resident-led social housing charity responsible for the delivery of housing management and maintenance services for around 1,800 homes and several commercial and community buildings in Stockwell/Brixton on behalf of a G15 Housing Association, Network Homes. Being a community-based organisation, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Customer Services Officer, with a focus on service delivery and a people-centre approach. With a turnover of £11m, and rising, and in excess of £150million of inward investment provided by Network Homes over the last 10 years we have ambitious plans for the future, and we want a like-minded visionary to join us on this journey.

About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant to join our well established, not for profit organisation provided social housing and leasehold management services to approximately 1800 homes in Stockwell, South London. We are looking for an experienced and pro-active Executive Assistant to support our busy Executive Director and other senior leaders within the business. This is not a typical EA position. Besides managing diaries and communications you will be expected to also be involved in all aspects of the organisations works and initiatives

This will be a perfect role for an individual who wants to be office based and work for a thieving organisation with a fantastic future. We do not have an ideal candidate in mind as we recognise and value a range of diverse experiences that people can bring to a role.

About you:

Knowledge and skills

  • To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance.
  • Excellence required in interpersonal skills, approachability, and accessibility, managing stakeholders with utmost discretion and diplomacy.
  • Self-assured with a very high standard of business communication skills, management planning and organisational ability.
  • Expert strategic and operational knowledge in governance and compliance relevant for the senior leadership team, board members and other stakeholders.
  • Possessing excellent presentation, engagement and influencing skills.
  • Visible, resilient, confident, and determined, but also self-aware and reflective, committed to building trusting working relationships.
  • Ability to efficiently plan and manage the workload of others and continue to work to deadlines to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ability to focus on detail and retain sight of the bigger picture.
  • Understanding the usage of data within the business, and using appropriate techniques and tools, to draw appropriate conclusions.
  • Microsoft packages including excel, PowerPoint, word, outlook

Experience

  • Experience of organising meetings including agenda management and taking action notes.
  • Diary management for multiple managers
  • Experience of managing senior level meetings and contributing effectively to their running and delivery of priorities.
  • Knowledge and experience of data protection regulations and how this impacts service providers.
  • Experience of managing budgets.
  • Experience of taking minutes at board level
  • Experience of drafting and proof-reading documents
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
