The Role:
The purpose of this role is to deliver an exceptional, and consistent food and beverage guest service experience across our several Food & Beverage outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an excellent food and beverage service and experience for our guests across the hotel’s food and beverage outlets
- Deliver a memorable service experience to the highest standards with a warm and personal touch
- You will engage and interact with our guests creating magical and memorable moments during their time at SCHLOSS Roxburghe
- Ensure that your guests orders are taken and executed in a timely manner
- Take ownership of any F&B guest request which comes your way seeing it through until completion
- You will assist in ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times
- Have good knowledge of the different menus and options available to our guests
- Assist guests regarding menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way
- Boost revenue through upselling and cross-selling across different hotel departments
- Follow all safety standards and policies when handling food and beverage
Your Knowledge & Capabilities:
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment
- You are empathetic with excellent communication skills
- You have a passion for the food and drink industry and delivering excellent guest service
- Ability to remain calm and courteous at all times
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
Proven Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry preferred
