Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 per annum depending on experience

About us:
Centaur is an established manufacturing business based in Redditch, Worcestershire since 1974. Our principle activity is the manufacture of PVC-U cable management systems supplied to the electrical industry via 400 electrical distributors throughout the United Kingdom
Centaur operates 24 hours per day. There are 12 extruders, 8 moulding machines, a compounding plant, chillers, compressors and various granulators, saws and presses.
About the Role:
A career opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer at Centaur Manufacturing.
Shifts will be based on a weekly rotating pattern of 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Follow a PPM schedule whilst dealing with day to day breakdowns, faults and repairs
- Optimise plant output and quality
- Ensure safe working practises
- Day to day maintenance of plant and equipment
Desired Skills:
- Will have knowledge and experience in the plastics sector, good people skills and a proactive approach
