Job Title: Small Plant Fitter
Location: Corpach, Fort William
Salary: Circa: £45,000 per annum
Job type: Full- time, permanent. Core hours of 50 hours per week, flexibility required.

About the role:
Previous experience of working within a workshop is required along with relevant qualifications. This can include car mechanic qualifications.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring all inspections and repairs are carried out according to the manufacturer’s procedures. Travelling to other depots will be required.
About you:
- Background in mechanics is required, training and support will be provided so this role may be suited to those looking for a change in career from previous mechanical/engineering roles

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure all inspections and repairs are carried out according to the manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner within reasonable times for all plant and equipment
- Ensure that all plant/machinery is inspected and serviced within legal compliance regulations and in line with company policies
- Travel to other depots as required to carry out inspections and repairs
- Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained at the Kishorn workshop and stock levels are maintained
- Ensure all work is recorded accurately and signed off accordingly
- Ensure that all service paperwork is completed accurately as per instructions
- Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair
- Attend technical training or any other training that is made available for your development
- Assist in the coaching and development of any apprentices or other technicians
- Ensure that you conduct yourself in a business and professional manner
- Any responsibilities and tasks delegated by the senior management
- Ensure that you conduct yourself in a business like and professional manner at all times
