Job Title: Lecturer in Food and Nutrition

Salary: £36,333 – £40,745 per annum – AC2

The Role:
University College Birmingham are looking for an outstanding individual to support the delivery of high-quality food and nutrition programmes.
The successful candidate will join an excellent team working to deliver a high-quality educational experience in the Department of Sport and Nutrition. Based in the new Moss House Campus, which houses a commercial clinic, Human Performance Centre and Laboratory, you will be able to draw upon your teaching / vocational experience to maximise the learning experiences of our students alongside your excellent teaching.
Candidate Requirements:
You will have experience of teaching at undergraduate level and/or substantial work experience within the field of food and nutrition alongside suitable experience to deliver specialist modules that translate theory into practice in this field to make a significant impact on the career aspirations of our students. Furthermore, you will have the ability to lead or support delivery across a range of modules which are underpinned by food and nutrition e.g., food science, food manufacture and public health and nutrition.
The successful applicant will also have up-to-date industry knowledge which will be utilised to deliver interactive, innovative, engaging and motivational lessons to our students.
Exceptional candidates may be considered for Senior Lecturer positions.
