Salary: £37,725.00 – £41,793.00 per year

Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent (36 hours per week)

What does a Social Worker do at Hillingdon?

If you are looking for new challenges working with a young vibrant client group with various opportunities to learn and develop your social work skill, then the Preparation for Adult Team is for you. This is a passionate team who are driven by working with service users to prepare them for Adulthood. Some of the work undertaken includes court of protection work, safeguarding enquiries, best interest assessments for service users, implementing and reviewing care packages in the community (service users homes / supported living / care homes), referrals to supported living, residential or nursing homes.

About you

You will be a qualified, experienced Social Worker looking to progress your career or an accomplished Senior Social Worker, with a wide range of experience working with Older Adults and/or People with Disabilities. You will have developed your skills and knowledge with further post qualifying training and have specific experience with the relevant client group.

You will be innovative and creative with a willingness to explore new models of working to improve the outcomes for our service users. Moreover, you will be a highly motivated individual who is able to build strong relationships to deliver the best possible outcomes for vulnerable people.
