Working Hours: Normal business hours 07:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

Halifax Timber and Roofing Merchants were established in 2018 and have quickly established ourselves as the leading supplier of timber and roofing products in Halifax.
We stock a wide range of good quality softwood and hardwood, roofing and building materials. We serve trade customers and DIY customers in and around Halifax and the surrounding areas.
We take pride in our products and customer service. We offer on-site collection and a delivery service for customer convenience. Many of our customers are repeat buyers, which is a testament to our work and customer relations.
About the Role:
We are looking for a delivery driver to join our team.
This role will suit someone who likes to be out and about, meeting people and working under their own steam. The ideal candidate will be confident and outgoing, well organised and a good communicator. They must also possess a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and be able to work independently.
The role will involve customer service and travel within the Calderdale and surrounding areas. The role is physically demanding and involves a lot of lifting and carrying – including large objects (such as lengths of timber) and heavy objects (such as flooring and roofing materials).
The successful candidate will be provided with a company van (for work purposes only) and employee benefits, including paid holiday.
About You:
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
For the purposes of insurance, all candidates must be over 30 and have a valid driving licence with no more than an SP30 speeding conviction.
It is desirable that you have a working Experience in driving/ delivery roles.
