The Role
As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing cross functional teams that support our TNS Products teams in delivering innovative new Products or refreshing existing Products across multiple Product verticals. You will manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation and Product launch.
You’ll need to establish effective communication plans with project teams and key stakeholders, provide day-to-day direction to project resources and take responsibility for the preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets. A successful Project Manager operates effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates leadership, maintains composure, manages the details, the priorities and has superb communications skills.
This role will be a remote working position so the job holder will be able to work anywhere in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit proactive behaviour by engaging in project planning activities, including but not limited to: Defining the overall scope of the project; Creating and maintaining a consolidated timeline/schedule highlighting the major milestones and associated dates for project activities; Identifying and communicating project dependencies and impacts; Putting mechanisms in place to ensure on-going control of the project (E.g., Kick off meeting, overall Project Management Approach, Communication Plan, Risk Management, Issues Management, Change Control, etc.)
- FRcilitate alignment and approach for all related Payments Market business areas to meet overall TNS Objectives.
- Knowledgeable about how the organizations work; knows how to get things done through formal channels and the informal network. Understands the culture of organizations.
- FRcilitate sessions with internal and external stakeholders to outline scope, goals, deliverables, resource needs.
- To excel in project communication management consisting of stakeholder identification, communications planning, Information distribution and the management of Stakeholder expectations.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical and/or project management experience
- Three to five years of professional project management experience which includes a balanced combination of client FRcing and technology implementation work.
- Experienced in establishing a project plan and managing a project from start to finish.
- Track record in managing multiple and concurrent projects, from planning and initiation through execution and closure
- Experienced project risks and issues management, able to address any and all challenges, mitigate risks and issues and escalate to appropriate parties where required.
- Proven problem-solver who has a demonstrated ability to overcome challenges with creative solutions.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver against defined timelines and internal and external business requirements.
- Coordinate internally with subject matter experts, product managers, sales representatives, and service delivery managers to ensure all aspects of implementation are accurate.
- Be detail oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritise, manage client expectations and align internal resources for quality and timely delivery of projects.
- Prince2/ PMP certification
- FRmiliarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Experience of working in a Fintech environment is a plus.
- Experience in working in a multi-language, multi-time zone environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications
- 6+ years of total experience
