Salary: £25,948 – £28,131 per annum – SS3.

The Role:
University College Birmingham is entering one of the most exciting and ambitious periods of development and we are delighted to be rebranding and reshaping our Business School with a future focused, digital, industry and community-based approach.
Under the leadership of a new Executive Dean, and Vice Dean, the new School will span a diverse and exciting profile courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Our Student Engagement Tutors are a vital link in our support for students, and indeed the overall student experience.
We are looking for enthusiastic and empathetic individuals to join us to provide excellent pastoral support to our students. This will include tracking and monitoring progress, having appropriate conversations and supporting from the beginning of their journey with UCB through to transition into work or further study.
You will have previous experience of working with students and be an excellent networker, with the ability to build relationships with our student engagement team, student support services and academic colleagues, supporting a seamless approach to student support across the School.

Student support is part of our holistic view to the student experience, and we are looking for outstanding candidates in these roles as we continue to build on already strong foundations.
